I am feeling strongly about being always influenced by everything around me.
It may not have been influenced only these days, but I feel very sensitive to how I am getting influenced these days.
And those influences, in particular, influence my attitude toward my sermons.
Because God called me a preacher, and a preacher is a living creature in the circumstances God gave me, it is natural that the influences I have received flows into my sermons.
But it is not that simple. I am a student studying about media, so I contact with media more often than others.
The media stimulates my five senses and tries to influence my thinking further.
It means that a wonderful dance video or a video of daily life of celebrities will affect my spirituality.
The problem is that I can not avoid this.
I can live a little away from the media, but it will be only self-deception.
Rather, it is a good choice to engage the media in a more in-depth understanding of the world's existence.
All I have to do is to be active in the media and understand the world, and more importantly, I will be exposed to the Word of God so that I will be influenced by the Bible beyond the influence of the media.
