At first I decided to study ethics to see what is THE right choice in the contemporary world. However, the more I study, the more I see that there are so many reasonable choices in so many different ways. Each has different standards, different interests, different methodologies and different premises. As more knowledge accumulates, it becomes harder to tell what is right or wrong.
Rather, these confusions that arise from studying ethics lead to conviction for me that ethics should be based on theology. |
